I received the Bumpy Betty free of charge in exchange for my honest review forPinkB.O.Bthe fact I was given this product free of charge will not affect the outcome of my review. PinkB.O.B are an American company who offer budget friendly sex toys feel free to check them out.
The Bumpy Betty comes packaged in clear plastic packaging. You are able to see the vibrator through the packaging. It also comes with a leaflet inside that gives you tips from PinkB.O.B on how to achieve orgasm.
The Bumpy Betty has a unique quirky aesthetic it has undeniably incredible likeness to a Tongue. The curved tip gets thicker towards the base and is covered in tiny little taste budlike bumps all along the shaft. The tip also has some give to it and can be bent slightly.
The shaft of the Bumpy Betty is made from body safe silicone, silicone can be sanitised and is non-porous and body safe. I also think that the silicone bumps are slightly flexible they have some give to them when pressure is applied directly to a bump.
The control panel is made from ABS plastic this has a matte finish and feels smooth to the touch. At the base of the control panel is the cap that you can un-clip to access the battery compartment. The Bumpy Betty requires 2 AAA batteries to function I suggest using Duracell or stronger batteries to achieve maximum performance.
The Bumpy Betty has 7 vibration settings. To turn on the Bumpy Betty you press the power button, to then change the vibration setting you press the button that features a love heart with curved vibration marks coming off it. How To Make A Yes/No/Maybe List With Your PartnerThis then lets you cycle through the settings every time it is pressed. They consist of Low, Medium and High continuous vibration intensities the following 4 are pulse, rhythm, inclining and declining modes. To turn off the vibrations you press the power button again. The next time you do turn the Bumpy Betty on it will start on the lowest continuous setting, this is my preferred start up vibration for masturbation so that’s a plus for me.
During Massager Vibrators was able to reach my G-spot the vibrations feel really buzzy I do prefer the Highest setting. I also found if I thrust the texture became almost “graty” against my G-Spot to the point that the chaffing became unbearable, even with copious amounts of water based lube nothing could cushion the texture. I usually love texture on dildos/vibrators however I think the firmness of the silicone and the matte finish make it feel way too draggy for me.
I never like to give a vibrator one try and then make my mind up so I insisted on trying it out a few more times even using it as a clit stim. As a clit stim I actually enjoyed the texture if I rubbed it slowly against my clit. If I manoeuvred it too fast it was too abrasive.
Personally the Bumpy Betty doesn’t do it for me, I love texture but even the texture is way too over stimulating for me. The vibrations are buzzy and sometimes get lost in the handle almost tickling my hand.
Also Dresses and Skirts didn’t work for me it may work for someone who wants a more abrasive grippy textured vibrator.
I would recommend the Bumpy Betty for anyone who likes buzzy vibrations, those who like draggy silicone and anyone who wants a vibrator with extreme textures.
